Pasta De Waraku @ Central

Went to Pasta De Waraku at Central recently. We were attracted by the pastas displayed outside of the shop. If you have been to Central and to the 2nd floor, it’s hard to miss the store. Reason being that the pastas and desserts was displayed in the brightly lit window displayed. It sure look mouth watering.

We have to wait to be seated at the waiting area. Got a chance to take a look at the menu before we got our seat. After about 10 minutes, we got a seat. Interior was quite small, and was fully occupied, probably due to their limited space, there wasn’t a nice view of the Clarke Quay though.

Hubby ordered Pizza Set ($19.80) and Crab pasta ($18.80) with Japanese Style Original Cream Sauce.

Both of our orders come with a bowl of mini salad. As hubby wasn’t a salad lover, I got a chance to take 2 bowls of the salad. Like the sauce of the salad. Though it’s a small bowl, it’s just nice to have a little bit of appetizer with the mini salad. 😉

Hubby’s pizza set comes with a bowl of soup too. The Japanese style Hokkaido corn soup taste like the normal corn soup. Don’t have much deep impression of the soup though (had a sip of the soup only. 😛 )

And here’s hubby main dishes:

The Pork Salami & Tomato Pizza, hubby commented the pizza was nice, but the crust was probably a bit thin. I do like the crispy crust though. It taste yummy!

The Japanese style cod roe pasta wasn’t what we expected. It appear a bit plain and doesn’t seem like what’s on the menu (which was red), however, hubby said that their pasta was really good. And there sure is the taste of the cod roe! 🙂

The set meals also come with a choice of wine or soft drinks and hubby chose a red wine. Isn’t it worth it for a $19.80 set meal?

Lastly, it’s my pasta.
The Crab pasta with Japanese Style Original Cream Sauce. Wow! The crab is very sweet! Yummy! Pasta cream sauce was nice, and it do blend well with the crab. The crab do also “absorb” the cream sauce and vice versa, making the whole pasta really a crab pasta. Sure taste yummy!

We also did ordered a dessert, it’s really hard to miss out the dessert at the displayed. And here’s the yummy Tiramisu Parfait ($9.80).

It sure is creamy! The tiramisu is yummy and cheesy! There’s banana and strawberry by the side. Strawberry wasn’t that sour, there’s sweetness in the strawberries. Doesn’t it look mouth-watering?

If you happen to be there for meals, be sure to try the dessert. Would I go again for another pasta? Sure will!
