Time passes by so fast and unknowingly, it had been 2 years plus since the last post.

Realising that we had been neglecting our website for a long time, I decided to start posting again.
Papa Tang helped to revamped our website with a new look and cleared up the error while I tried to post few weeks (or months) back.
However, during the clearing of the website, the photos in the previous posts which were using some plugins were not able to be displayed.
I had tried to edit the posts and upload the photos again but that was when I realised I did not know where the original photos taken before 2011 were kept.

Since most of my posts were dated 2011 and earlier, a lot of the posts will not have photos on them, I guessed the only way is to just leave it as it is and hopefully one day I will be able to find back my pictures.

While searching through the photos, I found that we had a lot of memories which should be recorded down before I totally forgot about them.

Another reason on why I started to post again is because I had been "researching" on Taipei and reading a lot on other people's posts and therefore wanted to record our itinerary down as well.
Yes! We are searching for information on Taipei as we are planning on a trip there.

This year’s birthday celebration was a quiet one for me. As I was not really physically energetic to walk about, we decided to go out awhile. The only thing that I wanted to do for this year’s birthday was to take neoprints together. Loved taking neoprints as I think it’s one way of keeping memories on special occasions.

Early in the morning, we brought the kids to pray at the temple, after the praying, we went to Bugis to take the neoprints. That’s the only place we knew that had neoprints machines. We took 2 sets of neoprints and had fun posing at the machines.

23rd November is our 7th anniversary together. Every year, I would request to take neoprints on this special day and this year is also no different. The only difference is that this year we brought along the kids to take neoprints with us.

Amilie had taken neoprints a few times before so she knew she was going to take pictures when she saw the machines. That's the first time that Izaac took neoprints and he was just as excited as Amilie (he always followed Amilie's action).

That's how we spent our anniversary for this year. I still remembered for the first year anniversary, I gave hubby a CD with some songs which I liked.

Below is a list of songs which I gave to him:
1. Cradle by Atomic Kitten
2. (Qing Fei De Yi) by Harlem Yu
3. (Xing Qing) by Jay Chou
4. (You Yuan Qian Li) by Sun Yao Wei & Noriko Sakai
5. (Xu Yuan) by Leo Ku & Gigi Leong
6. (Zhen Xin Hua) by Peter Ho
7. (Zhen De Xiang Ni) by Alex Toh & Shun Zi
8. Forever by Damage
9. First Love by Utada Hikaru
10. How Did I Fall In Love With You by Backstreet Boys
11. Falling For You in Para Para Sakura OST

Guess it's good to watch the romance movie, Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, which will be opening on 11th Dec!

Finally the project is over!! The most happiest thing is that finally I could sat down in front of my laptop and slowly upload the pictures without feeling sleepy. I hope! 😛

All the late nights had ended, now I could really slowly update the happenings around me. There's so much thing to catch up.

During these busy times, we had been to Singapore during the family day. Have yet to transfer the videos from the video camera to the laptop.

The kids had some conversations that do make me laugh.

It's been awhile since we've update our blog. We are currently trying to adapt to our life without our maid for 2 years while waiting for the replacement of our new maid to come in.

After our maid told us she couldn't renew her contract with us as she wanted to go back home, we had went searching through the database online. We managed to had the new maid we selected to come in 2 days after our first maid left for her home.

The nightmare started when the new maid came in. Well, frankly speaking, I don't think we are bad employers but we got this kind of maid.

The 3rd day the new maid came, she actually requested to bring Amilie downstairs to play. Of course, she got rejected. The 4th day, she requested to bring Izaac downstairs to play and was rejected again. We were shocked that she had this kind of request within the first few days.

After 1 week, she told us that she does not want to work at our place. Then we had no choice but to call the agency to understand what she was talking about. The agent told us that she would try to work at our place. But 1 week later, she told me that she didn't know how to take care of children and she doesn't like to take care of children.

So we decided to change the maid. During these time, before she got transfer to another employee, she still need to work at our place. And the following week, my MIL found her standing on the kitchen window grill. She told us that she wanted to take the towel at the latch of the kitchen window. Well, base on her intelligence, we did not believe that she had wanted to take the towel.

Suspect that either she wanted us to send her to the agent or she wanted to shun off her work. That's what I had observe for her 3 weeks stay.

Anyway, we decided to send the maid to the agency and currently, we had to wait 3 weeks before our next maid come in. Pray hard that the next maid would be better.

Just a greeting to wish every mother a Happy Mother's Day on this special occasion for mummies.

So how do you celebrate your mother's day? Well, we would be going to celebrate Mother's Day on Singapore Flyer! Yippee! That's really exciting.

We bought the tickets at a special corporate rate and it was a coincidence that it fall on Mother's Day. Though the trip might be short, I believe it is a special occasion to spent on the Flyer for the first time.

Hope every mummy enjoy your Mother's Day. 🙂

It's been awhile since I had started blog hopping. This evening, I got some free time to do some blog hopping and it's make me realize that I had really missed out a lot since the last time I visited some of the other mummies.

Congratulations to mummies who had given birth and also to mummies who are going to have another baby soon. Feel so happy to see babies! 🙂 Some seems to have 'moved' virtually or in reality. Some little ones had already started school.

I really think that blogging is a good platform to keep in touch. And for updates. Well, just hope that I would be able to blog hop more and also updates on the little kids. 🙂

I received an email forwarded by friend which I think it's worth sharing. I would update you when I had tried it and for those who have tried it, maybe you would like to share with us whether it work.

It has worked for many. If it works for you please pass on the good news. Chiu Nan is not charging for it, so we should make it free for everyone. Your reward is when someone, through your word of mouth, benefits from the regime. Gallstones may not be everyone's concern. But they should be because we all have them. Moreover, gallstones may lead to cancer.

'Cancer is never the first illness,' Chiu Nan points out. 'Usually, there are a lot of other problems leading to cancer.

In my research in China, I came across some materials which say that people with cancer usually have stones. We all have gallstones. It's a matter of big or small, many or few.

One of the symptoms of gallstones is a feeling of bloatedness after a heavy meal. You feel like you can't digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area.' So if you think you have
gallstones, Chiu Nan offers the following method to remove them naturally.

The treatment is also good for those with a weak liver, because the liver and gallbladder are closely linked.

Regimen:
1. For the first five days, take four glasses of apple juice every day. Or eat four or five apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the five days, eat normally.
2. On the sixth day, take no dinner.
3. At 6 PM, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water.
4. At 8 PM, repeat the same. Magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.
5. At 10 PM, take half cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage.
PS. 1cup=250ml, ½ cup lemon juice=3 lemons (aprox.)

The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools. 'Usually they float,' Chiu Nan notes. 'You might want to count them. I have had people who passes 40, 50 or up to 100 stones. Very many.'

'Even if you don't have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It's always good to give your gall bladder a clean-up now and then.

It's been a busy week for me. Coming to the end of the project soon means working day and night. Had been working throughout the whole of last week. Where we need to go to work at the wee hours.

We had to wake up in the middle of the night and probably to start work from 4.30am. Time is not fixed. And everyone probably get a bit of crappy after disturbed sleeping routines.

The first night that I had to go back to work at 1030pm. Amilie asked me why do I have to go to work. keke

Finally weekend came and I could take a break before another battle with the sleeping bugs began.
