On The Bus Waiting…

May 17, 2008 · Filed Under Mama's Yakking · 1 Comment

I realise that it’s been a long time since I took picture with both the kids together. So I decided to take some pictures, in the meantime, keeping them occupied with posing for some camera shots while on the bus.
I started with taking pictures for Izaac. Izaac now loved taking pictures, whenever he saw my handphone, he would want to see his own picture. Read more

The Building Blocks

May 13, 2008 · Filed Under Mama's Yakking · 1 Comment

We bought Izaac some blocks to play with last year. Ever since Izaac had the building blocks we bought for him, he had been enjoying his block building a lot. He love building tall tower with the blocks. The first few times he built his tall tower, it would topple over easily as the base was the same width.

Recently, he was able to build the tower without toppling down by using a wider width as a base.

Here’s some snapshots of Izaac building his tower.

Probably it’s time to buy more blocks so Izaac could start building higher tower.

Just a greeting to wish every mother a Happy Mother’s Day on this special occasion for mummies.

So how do you celebrate your mother’s day? Well, we would be going to celebrate Mother’s Day on Singapore Flyer! Yippee! That’s really exciting.

We bought the tickets at a special corporate rate and it was a coincidence that it fall on Mother’s Day. Though the trip might be short, I believe it is a special occasion to spent on the Flyer for the first time.

Hope every mummy enjoy your Mother’s Day. :)

We had cravings for Japanese food and decided to go to Great World City for our dinner. Had told hubby that I wanted to go there for dinner whenever we was at Great World City.

We were 4 in the queue when we reached there. While queuing for our turn, I took a picture of the signboard.

The restaurant was packed and the set dishes were sold out pretty fast. We were not able to get some of the set as there were sold out. It seems like they only have limited number of sets of dishes per day.

Mass Registration 2009

May 8, 2008 · Filed Under Mama's Yakking · Comment

I have been checking out on the PCF website every now and then for the registration date for Amilie to enrol in for nursery class. During the wait to check out on the registration, Amilie’s current playgroup also started to inform that they would be starting a nursery class in 2009.

Though it was a good idea to let Amilie continue with the same teacher for nursery, I still prefer to let Amilie to register into PCF instead.

Next week would be the registration for PCF, I guess I had to take leave for the registration for Amilie. Oh! I had to remember what documents are required. :)

It’s been awhile…

It’s been awhile since I had started blog hopping. This evening, I got some free time to do some blog hopping and it’s make me realize that I had really missed out a lot since the last time I visited some of the other mummies.

Congratulations to mummies who had given birth and also to mummies who are going to have another baby soon. Feel so happy to see babies! :) Some seems to have ‘moved’ virtually or in reality. Some little ones had already started school.

I really think that blogging is a good platform to keep in touch. And for updates. Well, just hope that I would be able to blog hop more and also updates on the little kids. :)

Removing Gallstones Naturally by Dr. Lai Chiu-Nan

May 2, 2008 · Filed Under Mama's Yakking · 1 Comment

I received an email forwarded by friend which I think it’s worth sharing. I would update you when I had tried it and for those who have tried it, maybe you would like to share with us whether it work.

It has worked for many. If it works for you please pass on the good news. Chiu Nan is not charging for it, so we should make it free for everyone. Your reward is when someone, through your word of mouth, benefits from the regime. Gallstones may not be everyone’s concern. But they should be because we all have them. Moreover, gallstones may lead to cancer.

‘Cancer is never the first illness,’ Chiu Nan points out. ‘Usually, there are a lot of other problems leading to cancer.

In my research in China, I came across some materials which say that people with cancer usually have stones. We all have gallstones. It’s a matter of big or small, many or few.

One of the symptoms of gallstones is a feeling of bloatedness after a heavy meal. You feel like you can’t digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area.’ So if you think you have
gallstones, Chiu Nan offers the following method to remove them naturally.

The treatment is also good for those with a weak liver, because the liver and gallbladder are closely linked.

Regimen:
1. For the first five days, take four glasses of apple juice every day. Or eat four or five apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the five days, eat normally.
2. On the sixth day, take no dinner.
3. At 6 PM, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water.
4. At 8 PM, repeat the same. Magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.
5. At 10 PM, take half cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage.
PS. 1cup=250ml, ½ cup lemon juice=3 lemons (aprox.)

The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools. ‘Usually they float,’ Chiu Nan notes. ‘You might want to count them. I have had people who passes 40, 50 or up to 100 stones. Very many.’

‘Even if you don’t have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It’s always good to give your gall bladder a clean-up now and then.
