2006 as a whole was a very eventful and interesting year for me. A year of coping with personal sacrifices, losses and acceptance of new ideas and generally a different way of living that was in total contrast from the way I've been living for the last 29 years.

Becoming a father for the second time have made me a more mature person than ever before and the time, love and commitment that bonds you to the birth of a new life certainly gives new meanings to the word sacrifice.

Over at the work front, pretty much everything remains the same, I'm still staying on in my job for the near future at least until the time is ripe for me to venture full-time into the business that I've been building up with my friends.

The area where I felt that I've grown the most is my personal development in the areas of decisions making and attitude wise. All thanks to my mentor who all along has been imparting his wealth of experience and knowledge to me unconditionally.

I would like to take this chance to thank my Mum for taking good care of my children and the sacrifices she has to make through the difficult times of the past year coping with the passing of my dad. Thank you Mum!

To my wife, I have this to say “You have made me a better and whole person and I'm really grateful for the sacrifices you have made in the past few years. Love you always!"

And to those of you who have made a difference in my life, I really grateful and thankful to have you all too in my life! Just keep in touch and stay funny always.

PS- To my buddy Chan who's currently in Algeria for a project, well that's life for you man! Ha! Just don't lose your sense of weird humour and logic. Stay healthy and try to get yourself an Algerian babe over there before you come back! LOL!
