Swensen's Executive Lunch

Almost every time we went for Swensen's executive lunch, it would be a
farewell lunch for colleagues. And that time, never would I have thought
that we would went there for mine too. Don't be mistaken, I had not hand
in any letter, I didn't have the courage to anyway. I was temporary
transferred to another project. And it's a little farewell lunch with my
colleagues before I moved over.

Had not tried the dish before, so decided to try the Fish in a Jacket.
That's roughly the name of the dish. 😉

Though the portion wasn't a lot, think it's just nice for me. But I didn't
like the taste of the fish as it doesn't taste that fresh. Probably the
fish was not defrost completely before they fried it. That's how I feel. 😉

The Executive Lunch also includes soup, a drink and a dessert. Only
remember to take the picture of the soup as I totally forgotten about
taking picture of the dessert (1 scoop of ice-cream) after my main course.

  1. The only dish I like in Swensen's is the Crayfish Pasta. It is part of the Executive Lunch too. Can try out if you are going next time.

  2. grr-grr...that was my stomach. Sasha was right - not a good idea to be staring at food pics at this hour.

Hmmm...I am totally lost as to Wen's comments though. go where? do what?

  3. Idy, I had tried the Clayfish Pasta too. It's really nice. Was thinking of trying other dishes when I went there too..

Haha Sasha & Clement, I too would start looking for food when I look at it. 🙂

Wen, me like Clement, don't understand what you talking about.

  4. For me, i always eat the pasta with deep fried fish... or the sambal fish set meal. crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. i looooovvvveeee it!

  5. Oh! The sambal fish meal, my colleagues had eaten before, it seems nice but was easily mistaken as the BBQ Stingray. 😛
