2nd Prenatal Visit

After the first prenatal visit, my appetite was still not good. I still did not gain any weight, only 37kg (Yap! I am underweight) when I went for the second prenatal visit. Always feeling tired and not getting enough sleep. Woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t get back to sleep after waking up.

For my second prenatal appointment, the gynea told me that I was to take the blood test. I was quite surprised that it was time to take the blood test as it was only my second appointment. I don’t remember taking the blood test during my second prenatal visit. After getting the blood sample to be sent for lab test, it’s time to see how the baby is doing.

We happen to see the baby doing a somersault. We wondered will it be another active baby, like Izaac. We could see clearly the body of the baby.

As I was 3 months pregnant, I could take up the delivery package and of course I took up the package as it would be cheaper. The package includes routine scheduled antennal consultations after the 12 weeks gestation, simple growth scans and the delivery.

The next appointment will be the 4 weeks later. And Gynea told us that we should be able to know the gender at the next appointment. I couldn’t wait to know the gender of my baby.
