First Artwork at Home

Recently, I started to let the kids learn writing and had fun doing art & crafts at home. It started with the first artwork we did at home.

Was clearing out the used car coupons that hubby left in the car and decided to bring the used coupons for the kids to play with.

Let the kids chose their own color of construction paper, then tore out the number tabs from the coupons. At first, I just let them paste the tabs on the paper but Izaac lost interest easily as he was uncomfortable with the sticky feeling on his hands.

To encourage him to ignore the sticky feeling and enjoy the pasting, I decided to draw his name on the paper and let him paste over his name. It did work for him.

Amilie wanted to paste her name when she saw that Izaac was doing his name with the tabs.
