Well, got to the dining room and it sure is funny to have the moment capture. Here’s the picture I had taken that evening.

Amilie fell asleep while eating her dinner.

She was sleeping on the chair looking so tired.
As Amilie went out in the afternoon and did not take her afternoon nap, she was so tired while eating her dinner that she fell asleep halfway through her dinner.

We woke her up after taking her picture as it would be too early to sleep and she would wake up later in the middle of the night. Hopefully, after that incident, Amilie would get to take her afternoon nap every day.

According to the guy at the counter, it operated just like any fast food restaurants. The set meals are like KFC. Both hubby and I each ordered a set.

As the place was quite empty, there wasn’t any trouble in find seats. We sat down at a table while waiting for the meals to be served to us.

Saw the decoration on the wall and decided to take the picture.

Though it operate as a Fast Food Restaurant, the wait for the chickens were a bit longer. Finally, the chickens were served to us.

The salt was not added into the fries and it was left up to individual to add. I liked that idea as some people does not like the fries to be salty.
As the chicken was just fried from the kitchen, it was very hot. The chicken tasted about the same as from KFC.

So you may wonder where’s the location of this fast food restaurant. It’s actually located at 12 Upper Cross Street

After we left, we had actually wanted to get Ben & Jerry’s Ice-cream cake for Izaac but didn’t as Vivocity’s doesn’t have ready made ice-cream cake for sale. We decided to buy Swensen’s ice-cream cake instead.

Here’s the cake that we bought. Got the picture of the cars as Izaac like vehicles.

That’s how we spent Izaac’s birthday.

It seems that she was being bitten by Izaac. And from the look of the bruise on her mouth. It was mouthful. My guess was that Amilie was trying to kiss Izaac and being the playful one, sometimes he would open his mouth biting our mouth. And Amilie wasn’t fast enough to escape from his mouthful kiss. keke

During those 3 days, we couldn’t help but laugh at the mouth as it look like a ’sausage’ mouth. And she was sporty enough to give us a tweez with her huge mouth.

As every where were so crowded and we were not really hungry, we decided to have dim sum that day. Here’s the dim sum we had from the Fortuna de stall.

Hubby ordered wide spread of dim sum for all of us.


The prawn dumplings are yummy. Even the kids loved it.

Personally I don’t like the vegetables dumplings as I don’t like the skin of the dumplings. It’s very thick and probably after a while it taste a bit bland.

The dumplings were nice. Forgotten what was in it but it was delicious.

The Siew Mai was nice too. Below are the rest of the yummy dim sum we had. The food at Food Republic is nice. Next time we have to try other food at Food Republic.

When the kids saw the poster at Suntec City, they were excited. Here’s picture of the kids taking picture with the poster. They were quite distracted though.

After lunch, we went around other exhibition to see what was available for them and found saw a walking “robot” and took photo with it. Hehe Izaac was too afraid to take pictures.

Finally, it’s time for the show. The kids were happily singing with Barney and friends. But after a few songs, Izaac fell asleep. As it was nap time, Amilie also fell asleep after the break.

Luckily we did brought along the video camera to record for them to watch. And here’s some snapshots of the concert we captured.

I let him try the brown color suit first as the red color set is meant for Amilie. And surprisingly, it looked nice on him.

Since Amilie wasn’t around and there is only one model, I decided to let Izaac try the red color set too.

Then there’s another Hawaiian set. Doesn’t he look like he is going to the beach?

Haha! I should bring Izaac out in those outfits some days.

So what happen to the days without maid? Well, it was messy!

Although the kids are getting bigger now, there is no need to bring stroller or a pram along, if there is a choice, I would prefer to bring one baby pushchair along.

The reason to bring a pram along is that the kids could take a short nap or rest if we were outside for long hours. As Izaac like to look around as we were walking (even though he was really tired) and I would think that it would be better to have brought along a stroller for him to rest.

Previously, I would bring along a stroller if I was to be bringing the kids out with my maid’s assistance. The kids would have to take turn to sit in the stroller while resting their legs and sometimes they would fight over who get to sit in the stroller.

Happen to shop around and found this website introducing baby pram and other baby products. What got me interested is the twin pushchair. If I had a twin pushchair like that, I would be able to push the kids around and they could have a rest if they are tired after too much walking from all the shopping. And I do not have to worry about them fighting over and they would be able to take a nap at the same time too.

We each ordered our set of dishes and some side orders to share among ourselves. Here’s the dishes we ordered:


This dish was nice. Can’t exactly remember how it taste like but it look abit spicy.

Don’t remember which of my friends ordered this set meal, but the dish look appetizing and yummy!

Here’s what I had, well, to tell the truth, I don’t like this dish at all, thought that the soup was like normal soup but it’s too creamy and I don’t really like that taste. Anyway, I didn’t manage to finish the dish.

The set is very filling, with rice and noodle and there are a lot of ingredients for this set. And I feel, it’s worth the price.


The 2 dishes were ordered by my friends. Not sure how the dishes were. Guess next time after I had tried it then I will know then.

The ebi tempura is nice too. Though common but still nice.

That’s all for the dishes we had at Waraku that day. It’s really a nice place for chit chat and had some fun.
