Izaac’s Mini Class Concert for Junior Music Course

As Amilie is still having fever, she have to miss the mini concert. Therefore, this time round, only Izaac’s got to show off.

Athina got the first time to attend the brother’s concert.

The first item is memory singing. The kids gathered around the piano and singing. That’s normally how they attend the lessons as well.

Next is the music ensemble. The kids got their musical instruments and stand in front of the class while Mrs Chan got ready the music.

Here’s the first piece. Honeybee March where Izaac playing the castanets.

Next is the Animals Mambo. And Athina got to participate in the musical ensemble as well.

After which, the kids sing a song together. Here’s for you to enjoy the kids singing. “Let’s Go” Not sure Izaac know how to sing this song but anyway, he’s enjoying himself.

Then it’s the kids time to perform the 2 repertoires. Izaac is probably a bit nervous. But still he deserves a round of applaud.

Well, girls will be girls. I remember when Athina is still a baby, she dislikes people to touch her hair. Now, she doesn’t mind at all.
She will want her hair to be tied and she doesn’t mind having her head bonded by hair band.
When she knows that her picture is being taken. She will smile sweetly at the camera.
She is able to pose different poses when I told her to.
Here’s a few of her sweet smiling poses.

Interesting Site To Get Baby Related Products

The other day, I was chatting with my hubby when we came to the topic of going overseas for a short holiday together with our kids. It has been quite some time since we go for a holiday together. The best part is we are going as a family for the first time. Although nothing is conclusive yet, I start surfing around to look around for tips when bringing kids along for holiday.

I came across this site which has quite a bit of information on baby safety when travelling. Besides baby travel safety information, the site also allows you to search for information on hotels, airlines as well as car rental services. I find the search feature useful for finding great deals.

Besides being an information site, you can browse and buy a variety of baby related products such as toys from Melissa Doug, baby carriers, travel gear, travel toys, stroller gear as well as baby banz sunglasses and more. The site really carries a wide range of baby safety products which will appeal to a lot of parents and especially to mums and mums to be. The prices are generally inexpensive and sometimes you can get a good bargain.

Another nice feature that I like is the various tips on infant, crawler, walker and multiple travel tips to ensure a safe trip for your loved ones. While some of the tips may not be applicable to us, I find the information generally useful and great help to those who are planning to go on a trip with their loved ones.

This is definitely a site I will bookmark and come back in the future if our travel plan can be realised. In the meantime, if you have any interesting sites on baby or children related stuff to recommend, feel free to drop me an email.

Here’s another of Athina pose. Having the new nexus s phone, is also the kids new gadgets for games. The laptop and old PC that papa Tang set for them have been left aside ever since I bought the phone.
Not only Amilie and Izaac, Athina also love the phone. I manage to find game suitable for her.

Here’s the 3 kids of my life.

Izaac the only boy with his shy pose. He wasn’t feeling happy when the picture was taken as he couldn’t play anymore game for today.
Athina posing with her 1 finger peace sign. She tried to imitate our peace sign but she only managed to pose with 1 finger each. Nevertheless she is still cute.
Although they do make me angry sometimes, its really great to have them in my life. Love you darlings.

One evening, when I was on my way home from work. Izaac called me on the phone. Here’s the conversation that we had…

Izaac: Mummy, my birthday over already?
Mummy: Yes, it’s over already.
Izaac (paused awhile): Over already?
Mummy: Yes, you celebrated your birthday in June, remember?
Izaac: In June ah? Then now what? (meaning now what month)
Mummy: Now November
Izaac: But I want my birthday to be in November!!
Mummy: You already celebrated your birthday in June remember, 2 times some more… One with shushu… One on your birthday…
Izaac (seems to accept the fact that his birthday is not going to fall on November) : The meimei birthday over already?
Mummy: Over already. In August.
Izaac: Over also? I want to eat birthday cake.

Towards the end of the conversation then did I found out that Izaac was actually aiming for the birthday cake. Probably he just went to my friend’s daughter’s birthday party and he was hoping for one himself also.

Well, Izaac, we had lotsa birthday cakes during the first half of the year already. And you even got to celebrate yours twice you know?
