Happy Amilie Released!

April 1, 2008 · Filed Under Family · 2 Comments

After I had finished tidying up the pictures in my laptop, I found these pictures that were taken on the day when Amilie was discharged from hospital. Amilie’s drip had just taken off from her hand and she was really happy. See her smile and you would know how much she loved to move about after being in the bed for 2 days plus.

These pictures were taken while waiting for the nurse to remove the needle from her hand.

She cried when she saw the nurse coming and we had to console her telling her that it was not painful. Think she got phobia from the poking of the needle. Then now, we would tell Amilie that if she wanted to take too much cold drinks and other ‘unhealthy’ food, she might get poke. ;) And it work sometimes.

Mummy’s Birthday

After the movie that night, we went back home to cut the cake that hubby bought for me. By the time we reached home, Izaac was already in the dreamland, therefore, only Amilie was there to sing birthday song to me. Received a kiss from her too.

As I loved ice-cream cake. Hubby had managed to get a nice ice-cream cake from Swensens for me. Thanks Hubby! ;)

Horton Hears a Who! Movie

March 25, 2008 · Filed Under Family · 1 Comment

It was my birthday and as I was working that day, we only managed to celebrate my birthday after my work. As I had already bought the tickets for the movie Horton Hears a Who! at Lido, we brought Amilie to watch. I met PapaTang & Amilie after my work at Lido.

Had our dinner there and as we were sitting near to the McDonald, Amilie wanted to sit with him after she finished her meal. She climbed up on to McDonald’s leg. Seeing her so comfortably sitting there, I decided to take some picture of her and she gladly posed for me.

He Follows Her

Recently, Izaac and Amilie are on more good terms, Izaac would follow Amilie around and imitating her actions too. They seems to communicating more, though sometimes it seems that only both of them what each are talking about. And they like to do things together too.

When Amilie is afraid to be going alone into the living room (when on ones is in the living room), she would ask Izaac to accompany her. And they would hold hands and went to the living room together to get what she wanted. Izaac sometimes would ask Amilie to accompany him too.

Excursion To Kids Kampong

March 15, 2008 · Filed Under Family · Comment

On the 2nd day of her return of the school from sickness, Amilie got to follow her class for excursion to Kids Kampong at Farmway 1. It’s very far from us and I had to agree that without any vehicle, it’s hard to get there.

We reported at the class around 9am and though only 9 students (including Amilie) were able to go. Then we boarded the school’s bus transport, seems like other classes from other areas of the same school. It was quite a journey and finally we reached there. If I had known that the whole family (each person had to pay $15) could go, I would have brought Izaac along too. :)

Imaginative Amilie

March 12, 2008 · Filed Under Family · Comment

As Amilie knows how to express herself through speech, we are able to see how her imagination grows.

She is able to pretend to cook and feed the bear at home. Recently, the bears even need to ‘change diaper’ because the bear had soiled the diaper. keke

While at Clarke, Amilie said that was “eyes” and she was quite afraid of it. She doesn’t really dare to take pictures with it until she dragged Daddy to take with her. keke

Here’s another updates on the Chinese New Year. :)

On the first day of Chinese New Year, we didn’t really went for any visiting, just went over to the kids’ great-grandparents place. Stayed awhile there, and then went home.

On the 2nd day of Chinese New Year, we brought the kids to my mum’s place. Dressed the kids up in cute Chinese traditional clothings.

It’s been awhile since the last updates. We were all busy, taking care of the kids and other work and stuff. Finally I got the time to update and post some pictures. :)

These pictures were taken on Chinese New Year Eve. This year, we decided to stay at home for the ‘countdown’ as we had to get up early in the middle of the night to go for some praying.
