He is mixing well in class and had been telling me that he likes Chloe. keke Initially, it’s Kerry but not sure why he change his good friend to Chloe. Unlike the first week he went to the new school, where he will be crying for me. Anytime the teacher teaches him a new song, he will come back and sing to me. Especially when Amilie shared her stories.

Izaac loves driving. Think boys will be boys and he sure enjoyed sitting in the aeroplane during the Airshow.

Izaac’s also started on Music Wonderland in Yamaha and I can see that he enjoys it a lot. And he dared to sing out loud when the teacher told him to do so.

Almost every time we go out, Izaac made sure that he is wearing the same T-Shirt as Papa Tang. I bought the same design of Jeep T-Shirts for both of them and Izaac loved the T-shirts. Once, he even changed out of the T-shirt to be the same as Papa Tang before going out.

The boy is always up to mischief, disturbing Amilie with a “ghost” or “monster”.

Oh, and Izaac wants to be a fireman when he grows up.

Amilie’s Birthday

Amilie got to celebrate her birthday with friends in her previous school before we shifted our house. And she enjoyed the birthday celebration very much. See how happy she smiled at the camera.

She also took pictures with her friends.



Not only did Amilie had great fun. The kids also enjoyed the chocolate cake which Amilie chose by herself.

In the afternoon, we brought the kids to Bottletree Park @ Sembawang for some Long Kang Fishing Experience.

The kids also got a chance to play at the playground even though the sun was scorching hot that afternoon.

During the night, we had a little celebration at home for Amilie. We also gave her a surprise by giving her the fairy’s wings and the wand which she saw at the shop. And she will show it when someone visited our house.

Recently, Amilie told us that she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. keke Next, she shocked us by saying that next time when she grows up, she is going to be a doctor and get married.

Amilie is very vain, she chooses her own clothes to wear and would tell me that she is very pretty.

After she started attending the Speech & Drama in her school. We found that she is more chatty and she loves to imitates the baby or bear sound when she talked to me on the phone. She knows how to dial my numbers now.

Just started Junior Course at Yamaha and she already asking for a piano.

Recently, she loved Art & Craft, she would draw, cut or paste and gave it to me or Papa Tang as a present. She just showed me that she did a jigsaw puzzle for me. That’s very creative of her.

Guess that’s roughly about Amilie.

In November, Amilie got a chance to participate in the graduating ceremony for the K2s at the community centre.

A few pics taken on the day of concert before my camera battery went flat.

During the Christmas season, Barney came to town and Amilie and Izaac got to watch it. They still loved Barney despite they had watched Barney almost everyday.

In December, my beloved maternal grandmother who took care of me when I was a kid left us and till today, I still miss her dearly.

December went by and a new year begin….

January was a busy month for us too…

Some events took place in January. One major event is we shifted house and the kids simply loved the new place and they got a bigger place to play their toys. She requested for her room to be painted pink but girl, you will not be having a room yet. However, mummy will keep that in mind! keke

Before the moved, we decide to let Amilie to celebrate her birthday with her friends in school. She was all excited the whole week knowing that we were going to let her celebrate her birthday with her friends.

On the day of the move, I got my driving license. Yippee!!! Spent $2k+ for the lessons and lucky for me to pass for the first time and before they start the test without the poles. Thanks to the instructors who taught me at SSDC. hehe

We also got to visit the Air Show 2010. The kids managed to take some pictures at the show.

1 week after we visited the Airshow, came Chinese New Year. This year we visited my cousin’s and the big and small kids had an enjoyable time. We also brought the kids to the River AngBao and managed to snap some pictures before it started to rain.

Well, that’s roughly what had happened during the past few months.

The little girl is very small in size, weighing only 2845g, is the smallest compared to her other 2 elder siblings.

Amilie when she is a baby
She looks exactly like her elder sister, Amilie, except that she doesn’t have as much hair as Amilie. She is about the same length as her other 2 siblings and her head circumference is also about the same as her elder siblings.

Dr Chan had asked whether want to induce or to wait for the baby to choose the date to come out. I am very tempted to opt for the induce but decided against, decided to wait for the time that baby want to come out.

If the baby doesn’t want to come out after the due date. Then I will go for induce. Since it’s only 1 week to go.. and a torturing week. Having backache and tiredness and everything.

Everyone is saying my tummy had gone down already. Now, only waiting for the baby to come out but it seems that she is enjoying herself in the womb that she doesn’t want to come out till full term. But mummy wished that she could come out anytime. Hehe

I had also packed the bag to be brought along to the hospital. Inside the bag are 2 sets of clothes for my stay in the hospital. Not bringing any extra toiletries as they did provide it in the hospital. Not forgetting the camera to be charged and had to remind myself to bring along the phone charger as I knew that the phone would be busy.

We had finally settled on the name and well I would disclose the name and the meaning of the name when the baby is out. keke

Next visit to the gynae will be 1 week later but I hope that I could see the gynae at the hospital this week instead at the clinic. hehe

9th Prenatal Visit on 17th July 2009

Mummy’s weight: 51kg
Baby’s weight: 2303g

Dr Chan said that still got at least 2 and a half weeks to go. That seems like so long to me. Dr Chan measured the water and say everything is alright. He asked me what picture I wanted of the baby but I did not have any idea so he printed out the backbone instead. keke
Next visit is to be 2 weeks later.

10th Prenatal Visit on 1st August 2009

It’s time for my prenatal visit again. I had gained another 1.5kg within 2 weeks. Dr Chan told us that he will not be in Singapore from 9th August till 16th August. As the previous 2 birth was always early by 1 to 2 weeks, so now we had to wait and see when the baby want to come out and if the baby intends to come out when Dr Chan wasn’t in Singapore, his brother will be delivering for me.

So coincident that he will not be around in Singapore this time round. For my 2nd birth, it happened that he was on holiday when Izaac came out and his brother wasn’t around in Singapore too. In the end, it was their friend that did the delivery for me.

Currently, we could only wait for the baby and see when the baby wants to come out. keke

Next visit will be 1 week later.

My weight is now 50kg, had gained 1kg over the past 2 weeks. Dr Chan first measured the baby’s legs and the head. Dr Chan zoomed in on the baby’s face after he had measured the baby. I had a hard time figuring out the parts on the face as the screen seems dark. Seems like Dr Chan had got a new machine and we got a chance to see Dr Chan in 3D. We can see a clear view of eyes and nose but too bad the mouth was blocked. It’s really interesting to see the baby in 3D! Dr Chan told us that this time he gave us for free but next time he would have to charge us. keke According to him, it will be a small baby, weighing about 2.8kg when she came out of.

For the 33rd weeks of pregnancy, baby is practicing breathing to exercise the lungs. Baby can listen, hear and see. The bones are hardening now except for the skull, which is still quite pliable and not completely joined, to ease out of the relatively narrow birth canal. Baby’s skin is also gradually becoming less red and wrinkled.

For me, I could feel the Braxton contraction now and then. It’s also hard to find a good position to sleep or lie down with a big tummy. Still having backache and I could not stand long without feeling giddy sometimes, feeling very tired easily, sometimes thinking is it that age had catch up?

Well, the next visit to the Gynea will be in 2 weeks time.

So the second time we went there, we ordered the Sliced Fish Soup set that cost $10. The set consists of the Sliced Fish Soup, Claypot Sesame Oil Chicken, Vegetables and 2 bowls of rice.

My favorite dish is the Claypot Sesame Oil Chicken. It’s just taste yummy and really suits my taste bud. I think I would miss this dish when I was on confinement.

The vegetables were normal and I prefer the claypot tofu that was included in the pomfret soup set. Not sure whether they could change the vegetables to claypot tofu instead.

The slices of fish in the sliced fish soup were fresh and it’s alright for someone who doesn’t know how to eat fish. The soup is considered “cooling” as it’s cooked with bitter gourd.

For Sleep:
Baby Crib & Mattress – Using back the crib that the kids used the other time. Bought new crib form mattress with ventilation recently.
Mattress Sheet Cover – Bought 2 extra covers apart from the sheets.
Pillow & Bolster (Optional) – 1 small pillow & 2 bolsters in a set
Casing for Pillow & Bolster – Bought matching cases as the mattress sheet cover
Blanket/Comforter – We still had the blankets that the kids used when they were just a baby. We bought a new comforter that match with the new pillow case.

Clothing
I had to buy some new sets of clothes for the baby as I had passed all the clothes to relatives or friends. As baby grows very fast, I prefer Hand-Me-Down clothes. However, I wasn’t able to find who is able to pass down their baby clothes this time. Anyone got any good condition Hand-Me-Down clothes? keke
Pajamas – Bought 2 piece set as I think it’s easier to change out of
Short sleeves shirt – A few shirt to be worn during the day. Prefer button shirt as it’s easier to change out when the baby is lying down.
Shorts – Bought a few but think the frequency of wear short is few as baby will be using cloth diapers.
Booties & Mittens – Bought a lot of mittens base on past 2 experiences as the babies tend to suck their hand.

Diapering
Cloth Diapers – The cloth diapers will be used during the day time at home
Disposable Diapers – The disposable diaper will be used during the night and also when going out.
Diaper Liner – For the use of cloth diapers and easier to wash the cloth diapers if the baby poo.
Wet Wipes – Will be ordering a few cartons from Cheong Choon as it will be cheaper.

Bath
Bath & Face Towels – We haven’t bought the towels yet. Think have to get the towels some day.
Shampoo & Bath – Will be using the same shampoo and bath as the kids.

Feeding
Bottles – 1 for milk another small 1 for the water.

Baby Gear
Pram – Still using back the pram which the kids used as it was still in good condition
Car Seat – We had a baby carrier which can be used as a car seat for the baby which we bought when Amilie was a baby.

Well, I think that’s all the items I need for the baby. Hope I did not miss out any!
