Pooh Bear Photo Shoot

Hi I am Amilie. It’s been a long time since my last post. I have started going to playgroup and making friends. Had fallen sick few weeks back and currently now still having slight cough. Though not as serious as little bro, but I still have to take the yucky medicine. Argh!

That aside, I had been practicing really really hard on my photography skill with mummy’s or Papa’s camera phone. I was hoping that when Papa & mummy see the pictures I had taken, I would be able to get a real camera. hehe

Latest Hairband

Presenting the latest hairband!

Want a hairband like mine? It’s simple, I believe that most of the little children like me would have one at home.

Just go to find the big alphabet C that some of the daddies and mummies might use as a ‘mat’ to prevent us from falling down. Just put the letter C on your head and Viola! you would have a hairband as cool as mine! hehe

Pls note that the hairband is not for big head. Be sure to do ask your mummy or daddy to capture a picture of you in the cool hairband too! Hehe.

Hi5 Concert

Was really happy over the weekends. Why? Cos’ I gotta see Hi-5 at Singapore Expo! I had been anticipating the concert from the day the commercial of Hi5 shown on TV. And after days and days of waiting (which seems like eternity) it’s finally 9th September. The day of the concert! Yippee!

Woke up early and took dinner and bathe. Waited till daddy woke up from his short nap. And changed and yes! We are out of the house! Got on the cab and was getting excited as we approached nearer to our destination.

Amilie @ The Library

Papa & Mummy brought me to Queenstown Library yesterday. The last time Papa & Mummy brought me to the library was like ages back (keke! Like I was so old!)

We left our place around 9am for breakfast. Since library was not opened yet, mummy wanted to go to the NTUC supermarket 1st. Oh! Was I excited to see the playground!! How I wish I could rush to the playground immediately. But mummy said she has to purchase her stuff first and being a good girl, I waited till she had done her ‘shopping’. And got my chance on the slides! Yippee!

Free Cone Day – 17th April 2007

Yippee! So happy on 17th April, Tuesday!!

It’s free cone day @ Ben & Jerry’s ! The moment I saw them preparing to go out, I started walking about in front of them to catch their attention. (They had no intention of bringing me along at first) And YES! It worked! They felt guilty and so brought me along to enjoy the ‘special’ ice-cream that everyone’s talking about!

Hehe! Little Bro gotta stay at home while we went out.

Took a bus there & when we reached Ben & Jerry’s at Great World #02-40A, we could see a lot of people queuing up for the free ice cream & some of them eating happily near to the shop.

We were lucky that we did not have to queue up like the others in the queue as we were told by the staff that children don’t have to queue. (See! It’s good to bring me along! )

Not sure what ice-cream we took but it was yummy! Haha! Hearing my suaku parents commenting of the ice-cream make me embarrassed though. They keep saying that it’s really worth it to give Ben & Jerry’s a try. keke (That’s the 1st time the Tang Family excluding didi tried Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream) As for me, I was feeling very much satisfied after the ice-cream.

Hmm, guess mummy would be buying Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream when she wanted to have nice, yummy ice-cream!

My CNY 2007 (Part 2)

Sunday, 1st day of CNY
Popo wasn’t at home today so Mummy say we stayed at home to rest since we couldn’t go visit her that day.
Only greeted Shu shu & Mah Mah Happy New Year. Nothing special or interesting happened today.

Monday, 2nd day of CNY
Today is a busy day. Early in the morning, Mummy got us ready and we set out to Popo’s house to wish them Happy New Year. Great Grandma was there too.

I had fun with Jiu Jiu, Yi Yi & Biao Yi. Mummy took a few pictures of us too. But there are too many toys to play at Popo’s place which diverted my attention off the photo taking. After lunch, we set off to Papa’s grandparents house for the next visit. Ate some goodies there, then around evening, we went back home.

Awhile after we reached home, Daddy & Mummy went out again, this time they didn’t bring me along. They went to take the River Hongbao & the full version of fireworks that we didn’t take on CNY eve.

Tuesday, 3rd Day of CNY
Around afternoon, Mummy brought us to Vivocity. We took MRT to Vivocity. Went to the foodcourt at basement for lunch 1st, after lunch, we went to level 3. Wah, there are water everywhere and a lot of small children are playing there. I was ecstatic, I jumped and kicked in the water. As mummy wanted didi to have fun too, we shifted our things to another place. There the water level is higher, mummy let didi sit with her by the side of the pool to kicked the water while our maid held my hands and walked about in the water.

Both didi & me are very happy. Too bad, there was a slight rain and we had to end our fun. We changed out of the wet clothing & it was about meal time for didi, so we rested while didi had his meal and while waiting for him to finish his porridge, I took picture with the model cow. Mummy carried me up the back of the cow and snapped a pic of me. HeeHee!


After didi & me finished the porridge, time to go home. Didi & me fell asleep on our way back home. We were so tired.

My CNY 2007 (Part 1)

Gong Xi Fa Cai! Happy New Year! It’s been very long since some one in the family updated anything. Everyone is busy and tired after a few days of CNY outings. For some there will be visits to the relatives. For me, going gai gai during this few days.

Friday:
We had our reunion dinner at home. Everybody except didi was present. Great-grandma was at the table with us too as she was staying over at our place.

Saturday, CNY eve
Around 6pm, daddy and mummy brought me to Chinatown. Great-Uncle drove us to Harbourfront Station to take MRT there.


Took a few pictures with the CNY display at Harbourfront before proceeding to MacDonald for dinner. We didn’t took our dinner at Chinatown because Daddy was afraid that it would be too crowded to have dinner there.

After finishing dinner, we took the North-East line from Harbourfront to Chinatown. I am getting all excited about the fireworks later on… Yippee!

When we arrived at Chinatown, it was quite packed with people. We got ourselves a spot near to a shop where there was aircon, but as the place become more packed. Daddy suggested to change to Esplanade as he was afraid that it would be too warm and uncomfortable for me.

We make (walked) our way to Esplanade from Chinatown. Along the way, we took pictures with the decorations displayed at the entrance of the shopping complex.


Stopped by Clarke Quay to look at the boats (Seeing the boat for the 1st time) and drink my milk. (Hungry!)

By the time we reach Esplanade it was quite crowded with people. While daddy was busy reading the fortune of the horoscopes for the coming year, mummy snapped a picture of me with my chinese horoscope. After all the phototaking and buying of snacks at the River Hongbao.

We went over to the Merlion there and found ourselves a good spot for the fireworks.

At 12am, a loud “BOOM” was heard in the sky and there was the fireworks. Daddy managed to capture abit of the fireworks with the camcorder before the camera went off (Muddlehead Mummy forgot to brought an extra battery). Here’s what we capture.

After the fireworks, I was so tired that I fell asleep on the stroller while waiting for the bus. And I didn’t bother to wake up when mummy carried me up the bus and home.

Pre-Reunion Dinner

This evening, we had a dinner with my paternal family @ a coffee-shop at Ghim Moh. Great-grandma & great-uncles were there. Papa & Mummy came late & we started the dinner without them first cos we are hungry. The aunties & uncles ordered a lot of dishes.

By the time Papa & Mummy came, we had almost finished our dinner. Then the uncles ordered some more dishes. Guess papa had a hard time finish all the dishes. (He doesn’t like to waste food). Hmm… as they were eating their dinner, I was wondering why is it so special to have this dinner. Then I found out from mummy that it is supposed to be a reunion dinner with great-grandma. Our reunion with shu-shus would be on another day. Our official traditional dinner would be on Saturday which is the Chinese New Year’s Eve! So busy! So many dinners to attend! Amilie busy!

While Papa was trying to finish the food, Mummy brought me to the playground to play for a short while. So happy! After a while, mummy’s phone rang & we went back to the coffee shop. Hmm… everyone was taking a new pair of chopsticks & standing up….

Then, everyone started to ‘attack’ a plate of dish (known as Yu Sheng) & throwing the food up in the air shouting some auspicious phrases… Heard alot of winning lottery… Haha! Seems fun…next time I also want to play!

Family Photo Taking

This afternoon, we went photo taking with my paternal family members. Went to the same studio (Overheard that the studio is called Swanlake Studio) as the other time we took for our family portrait. While waiting for the other aunties & uncles to arrive, we took a portrait with my grandma & shu shus.

After waiting for about 1 hr+ (Finally!), every members in the family finally arrived. We took pictures. Mummy kept telling to smile. Well, I was tired you know!? How am I suppose to smile when I should be asleep at this hour? The jiejie there kept taking the toy to attract DiDi‘s attention. Guess I am not the only one who is distracted huh? Finally, all pictures were taken. Now, I can only wait patiently for the photos to be out before uploading up.

Daddy, when are you going to take the photos? I wanna show my friends how pretty I am.
