Selecting The Right Free Blogging Tools
As a blogger, there are many free blogging tools on the market that you can easily get on the internet. But filling up your blog with all of the free tools that you can find isn’t actually a good idea.
Although it may be tempting to add a flashy background, an eye-popping new font, a visitor counter, and a number of flashy animated gifs to your blog, this kind of idea can easily backfire causing you to lose precious loyal readers who are turn off by these flashy gimmicks.
The key to getting the most out of free blog tools is being selective.
While it is a great idea to know about the kinds of free blogging tools that are available so that you can make an wise decision about what to include in your blog, it is also important to remember that just because you can have something doesn’t mean that you need it.
Practice restraint and only select those tools that you think will really make a difference in making your site more appealing.
For example, if you can find out how many visitors are reading your blog by checking your traffic statistics, a visitor counter is likely to add unnecessary clutter to your page. Or if your blog is text-based, a flashy background can be more of a distraction than an benefit.
Be practical and sensible about the kinds of blog accessories that will help you realize your vision and improve your site.
Remember that free thing doesn’t really mean good thing in the long run.

Agree totally with you, PapaTang! That’s why I enjoy reading your blog.
Thanks for your kind comment, Idy!
Most of the time, my wife was the only one contributing to our site.
My busy schedule coupled with my postings tending towards more mainstream issues, I’m afraid it will alienate most parents who visit this blog. haha!
Seems that I’m over worrying! Thanks for your continued support!
Cheers!
